Just a couple of very important parenting resources are Hand in Hand Parenting, and “The War Against Parents”, by Sylvia Ann Hewlett and Cornel West. “The War Against Parents”, though from 1998, is an indispensable resource because it so clearly explains the sweep of economic and historical forces that have created the seeming chasm between today’s parents, grandparents, teens and children.
