Jon Churney
Jon Churney, Board Vice President and secretary: Jon brings to the organization relationships with community colleges and local churches, and a knowledge of the needs and challenges of young people in multi-cultural Chicago.

Noemi Bucio
Noemi Bucio, Board Member: Noemi speaks Spanish and English, which will assist in our outreach to Hispanic groups. She has contacts at local community colleges, experience with event planning, knowledge of the needs and challenges of young people in multi-cultural Chicago, and significant small business experience.

Fredo Lucien

Fredo Lucien M.S.W. is a native of Haiti where he worked with a church’s youth program for eight years, L’Eglise Jean Baptiste Jerusalem, in the town of Pignon. He is tri-lingual, and finished his Bachelor’s at el Instituto Superior de Agricultura, in Santiago, of La Republica Dominicana, and his M.S.W. at Loyola University Chicago. Most importantly, he is the husband of Kate, and a proud new father of Sebastien Lucien.

Dan Prusaitis M.Ed. Executive-Director. Dan has worked as an activist and social worker in many not-for-profits, as a public school teacher, and with a family, multi-generational, small manufacturing business. See full bio.

Andrew Stricker

Andrew Stricker M.A. in Mathematics Education from DePaul. Board treasurer and teacher in Chicago’s Prosser High School: Drew brings to the organization eight years of teaching experience, connections to Chicago schools, experience in accounting and soon a second Masters in Academic Administration.
